Growth Mindset

Our programs facilitate learning through hands-on projects, on-the-job training and professional development opportunities. We foster a welcoming educational environment, designed to help you grow through collaborative engagement.

True Immersion

Whether you’re prototyping a new feature, supporting customers or designing a marketing campaign, you work with us, not for us. No matter how long you travel the road with us, your development and success is our goal.

Way Finding

The path may be winding, but - thanks to some of our software - at least it’s paved. Our pathways and programs are designed to build a foundation for your career, but also provide opportunities to grow, network and prepare for the road ahead.

Internships

For current university students, we offer internship opportunities in a variety of technical and business areas. Our internship program is designed to support learning and development through hands-on projects and experience, exposure to our industry and connections to subject matter experts.

Engineering Development Program

Infotech’s Engineering Development Program (EDP) is designed to immerse participants in the product development life-cycle (from Discovery to Release) and expose them to our software engineering tools and tech. This program is perfect for early career professionals in software engineering who are looking for more development to hone their skills.

Frequently Asked Questions

Still curious? Connect with us at talent@infotechinc.com for more information.

Are your early career programs paid opportunities?

Yes! All of our internships and early career programs are compensated competitively. We frequently re-assess compensation for internal and market equity, both regionally and nationally. We encourage you to speak to your recruiter about your pay expectations.

When do you typically recruit for these roles?

Applications for our summer programs typically open in August with offers going out in October, for the following summer. While we do recruit throughout the year based on our business needs, we recommend contacting us early. Keep your eyes on our Careers page and set up job alerts to get notifications of newly posted roles.

Who is eligible for these roles?

Each of our positions has tailored qualifications for education and experience. Typically, our internships require you to be enrolled in a degree-seeking program at the time of the internship. Currently, the EDP is best suited for new college grads. You can learn more about the specific qualifications on each job posting, and we encourage you to discuss these with your recruiter.

Can I work remotely if I'm hired?

It depends on the position, but typically yes. We have a preference for Gainesville-area candidates for most of our internships, but if you’re not local, we still encourage you to apply! Infotech is a flexible employer and most of our roles have remote and hybrid work arrangements available. Our job ads will further specify.

What’s the average duration of an internship or the EDP?

Our internships are aligned with academic semesters, making them around 12-14 weeks (or 3 months) long.

The EDP is a 12-week program that runs from June through August. After the program, participants have the opportunity to be evaluated and placed on a team in one of our two engineering departments.

Do you offer sponsorship for any of these roles?

Occasionally, and only aligned with specific positions and departments. Please discuss this with your recruiter to ensure clarity.

What schools do you recruit from?

While most of our recruiting efforts take place at Gainesville-area institutions, such as the University of Florida and Santa Fe College, we also recruit from other state and national schools. You can often find us at career fairs, club and student organization hosted events, and sometimes even in classrooms.

Are interns and EDP participants offered full-time opportunities at the end of their program?

While you are evaluating your experience at Infotech during your internship/program, it is also a chance for us to get a better understanding of your skills and experience for a full-time role.

Our ability to extend a full-time or part-time offer at the end of your program depends on many factors including business need, the individual’s skills and experience, and timing for the business.
