HOW IT WORKS

Real-time data, delivered directly.

No scrapers. No middlemen. No multi-month IT integration. Your bid data flows from the system of record into your data warehouse through a private, secure AWS Data Exchange channel.

STEP 1

We capture at the source

44 state agencies publish lettings, proposals, bid tabs, and awards directly to Bidx.com — the system of record they actually use to run their procurement.

STEP 2

Access via AWS

A private offering through AWS Data Exchange. Sign up, accept the data subscription, and you’re connected — no procurement gauntlet, no custom integration build.

STEP 3

Data flows daily

Pick the delivery method that fits your stack. New bid activity is refreshed daily and queryable alongside up to 10 years of history.

WHY INFOTECH

The only source-of-truth dataset for U.S. public infrastructure bidding.

Other services scrape what they can find on public websites. We publish the data the DOTs send us — because we operate the procurement system they use.

We own the system of record.

BidX isn’t a database we built by crawling agency websites. It’s the platform 44 state agencies use to run their actual bid lettings — advertise projects, accept sealed bids, post bid tabs, and announce awards.

When you subscribe to the Bid Data Service, you’re not buying a guess at the data. You’re getting the data itself, in the form the agency published it.

That’s the difference between an intelligence partner and a lead list.

BidX supports $150B in construction bids every year across 44 state agencies.

The Bid Data Service is how we make that visibility available to the rest of the civil construction ecosystem.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Things prospects ask before they sign.

Have a question that isn’t here? Talk to us.

How accurate is the data compared to other providers?

Data quality is our biggest differentiator. Our data comes directly from the government letting system — Bidx.com, which we own and operate — that the agencies themselves use to award the projects. It’s the source of truth. Services that rely on web scraping pick up whatever has been posted publicly, which is often delayed, partial, or inconsistent.

How is the data delivered?
Through AWS Data Exchange. You can choose file-based delivery (CSV via S3) for ETL workflows, or queryable access (Redshift Datashare) for direct warehouse queries. Both are designed to bypass long IT integration cycles — most subscribers are productive within days.
What data is included?
Real-time and historical letting data, proposal details, bid tabs, award information, and item-level pricing from 44 participating state DOTs. Up to 10 years of searchable history, updated daily. Coverage focuses on horizontal civil construction: roads, bridges, highways, and related infrastructure.
Is this an annual contract?
Yes. The Bid Data Service is offered on an annual license, because the strategic value of the data unfolds over time — seasonal trends, multi-quarter forecasting, year-over-year market analysis. A shorter term wouldn’t let you realize the full benefit.
Do you offer training for our team?
Yes — custom training is included and tailored to your team’s use case. It’s not a generic webinar; it’s an accelerator built around how suppliers, manufacturers, or analysts specifically extract value from the data.
We're already a BidX customer. Why pay for this?

BidX licenses are workflow tools for individuals submitting and tracking bids. The Bid Data Service is a fundamentally different product — an enterprise-level intelligence feed that powers your entire organization’s strategic analysis. Different problem, different tool.
